As per recent reports, it has been revealed that Volvo India, marching one step ahead towards its long-hankered dream of luring Indian customers, has launched its stunning entry level diesel variants of three of its existing models, namely S60, S80 and SUV-XC60.
The new variant dubbed as D3 was introduced in Delhi amid a massive fan-following.

The models are a minimum of Rs. 6 lakh less in cost when compared to the 2.4-litre diesel engine cars that are on sale in the nation.
“When I first came here some time (at the) end of July, I faced a lot of questions with regard to pricing as compared with other luxury brands”, the managing director of Volvo Auto India, Tomas Ernberg, revealed with a big grin. “We are introducing aggressive pricing strategy in our existing car line with new engines”.
